Aspen Ladd

Aspen Ladd began her journey to combat sports at age of 14. After a kickboxing training session, wrestling BJJ and BJJ she had her first professional fight against Jaimee Nievera at WCFC when she was just 18. Ladd later went on to take down three opponents in a row at Ultimate Reno Combat. All her opponents were finished within the first five minutes. She went back to WCFC and defeated Leslie Rodriguez through a unanimous verdict. Aspen was able to defeat Silvia Babaeghian as well as Maddy Simmons before fighting Cynthia Calvillo in WCFC 9. Cynthia beat Aspen with a majority vote. The loss put a mark on the record of Ladd's amateur. Ladd was victorious in her subsequent fight with Roma Pawelek to improve to an 8-1 mark. Aspen began her professional career in 2015 after signing with Invicta FC. Invicta fight Ana Carolina Vidal in Invicta 2011 and won via one-round TKO. Invicta Fc 16 marked her debut fight in the Bantamweight division. Aspen defeated Amanda Cooper with an armbar during the second round. Aspen made use of her wrestling prowess to beat McGill in the third round of a TKO. Aspen was then able to fight Jessica Hoy for Invicta FC18 at a catchweight of 138.1lb. Ladd was not in a position to make it, however, Aspen won and beat Hoy with a TKO. Invicta FC 28 was her final fight for the company. Invicta FC 22 saw Sijara Eubanks be defeated in a an unanimous decision. Aspen Ladd competed in her UFC debut against Lina Ladsberg. She outclassed Lina by using her ground and pound tactics, resulting in a TKO second round victory. Then, in her third fight she defeated Tonya Evinger more convincingly. Ladd defeated Evinger within the first minute and was awarded a prize for her performance during the evening. Her first major fight came during her subsequent fight in UFC Fight Night dos Anjos in which she faced. Lee against Sijara Eubanks in the Invicta FC rematch. The two fights were one of the most competitive fights that Ladd won by unanimous decision. Both fighters were awarded the Fight of the Night Bonus. Ladd's first loss came in her next fight against Germaine de Randamie in Ladd's first UFC main event fight. Randamie defeated Ladd within 16 seconds of the fight and ended her winning streak. Yana Knitskaya in the UFC 7 ESPN 7's 3rd round, was defeated by Randamie. In a recent replacement match to UFC, Norma Dumont was her opponent. The fight was a unanimous decision.
