Alisyn Camerota

Alisyn Camerota - journalist, author, the CNN's "New day" morning show, Westport resident and Westport Country Playhouse trustee - has been elected to the Westport Country Playhouse board. Camerota is a journalist for over 30 years, covered news stories both nationally and internationally. The award she received was one Emmy Award in her early professional career for reporting on the arrest by Roger Stone and the Edward R.Murrow award when she reported the details of Hurricane Maria. Johnna G. Torsone, from Stamford has been named an the honorary trustee after her tenure on the Board of Trustees since 2007. Anna Czekaj Farber of Westport appointed board chair after a tenure on the Board in 2013. Czekaj Farber takes over from Barbara Streicker from Westport who has served as the chair for the past year and continues to hold this role since. There are 26 trustees on the board of The Playhouse.
