DurraniDurrani is best known as Durrani's role in Dash Dolls on the E! The cable network. The actress was born in the San Francisco Bay Area to immigrant parents from Afghanistan. When we met, Popal just put Kareem her son to sleep. She was wearing a comfy Celine knitted sweater and Khaki trousers with Chanel loafers. The balcony of her apartment was the perfect place to enjoy hot water with honey and lemon. It was cold and windy outside. Durrani Popal, Durrani's younger sister, expressed her gratitude for her parents in our conversation. "I am so grateful for my parents' courage in leaving their country in search of the new year with a fresh beginning." Durrani and her brother learned to value and respect the United States and to respect their culture, and to preserve their traditions.
